Why Limited Editions?
Barker & Mills was born of a desire to create cocktail garnishes that are truly worthy of adorning the world's best cocktails. All of our recipes are original creations, and each batch is crafted by hand with the freshest ingredients possible. Because of this insistence on quality, our cocktail garnishes are limited editions every year, and we number each by batch and by jar number. When they are gone, they are, sadly, gone...until the proper season comes around again.
Sold Out Til Cherry Season
We were blown away this year when we sold out in mere months, even though we doubled production in 2012. We also apologize for crashing The Boston Shaker's website that day the Bon Appetit issue came out. whoops. Because we only use the freshest locally-grown cherries, we simply can't make more until this summer. But rest assured, we will be doing our best to produce enough to keep everyone in cherries all winter...sign up for our newsletter to get info on all news and release info.
Recipes with Barker & Mills
While we recommend you use Barker & Mills Cherries in any drink that is usually garnished with a cherry, especially in Manhattans, we are also pleased and delighted to collect the recipes of custom drinks created by inspired bartenders in storied establishments such as The Lantern's Keep in NYC and Backbar in Boston.
